Ego Ella May Gives Another Taste Of Upcoming Album With Jazz-Flecked "Give A Little"
Ahead of her impending second album Honey For Wounds, Ego Ella May has just revealed the project's third single "Give A Little".
Produced by Eun and Melo-Zed, with additional instrumentation from Grammy-nominated jazz trumpeter Theo Croker, "Give A Little" was reportedly the last song to be written for the album and was inspired by a Reiki healing session in Devon.
Effortlessly smooth and smoky, the expertly-arranged instrumentation bubbles and sizzles in the background while her rousing vocals take the lead, exploring her insecurities and worries before ultimately finding peace.
"'Give A Little' is about being sick of your own sh*t, and hoping something will give and it will all make sense. It's about feeling like something's got to give (to put it simply)... like there needs to be a silver lining because why tf do I keep making silly mistakes in life."
