After Drake helped to bring back Top Boy last year as a Netflix Original, six years after the original series concluded on Channel 4, the rapper has now revealed that fans can get ready because a new season will be released this year.

The Canadian megastar revealed the news on Instagram when GRM Daily revealed that Top Boy was one of Netflix's most streamed show in the UK of 2019 and asked: "Will we see a new series in 2020?" Drake commented on the post, confirming exactly what fans needed to hear with the words, "Of course."

The recent season of Top Boy was well-received by critics and fans and left viewers with a mind-blowing cliffhanger (and a phenomenal soundtrack), so there's no doubt audiences will return for another season.
