This weekend, tensions between producer Dot Rotten, aka Zeph Ellis, and JAY1 bubbled over after the Coventry rapper reportedly refused to pay the producer his fee of £15,000 for a beat he had sent him.

Taking it to the booth, Dot Rotten wasted no time and hit social media with a snippet of a diss track he had cooking for JAY1, warning the rapper that the track would soon be dropping.

And now it has.

Dot may be more known as a gifted producer these days, but make no mistake: when it comes to diss tracks and pars, he's one of the greatest to ever do it — those to have incurred his wrath in the past include titans like P Money and Wiley. This JAY1 diss is a stern reminder of those credentials as the legendary MC uses his own instrumental to deliver slick and comedic bars while dropping secrets from behind the scenes.
