Back in the early 2010s, garage and bassline king DJ Q put out an untouchable run of gold on Local Action, including stone cold classics like "Brandy & Coke", "Rocky", "Sonic" and the Ineffable album. The quality hasn't faltered since, putting out gems on a bunch of different labels and teaming up with Flava D and Royal-T as t q d, but then last October he returned to the fold with double single "All That I Could/It's You" and now he's back with a fresh remix of each track.

Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Octo Octa handles "It's You", transforming the bass-heavy original into a sleek piece of house music with a heavy dose of new jack swing to get you jumping. Meanwhile, house and UK garage veteran Lavonz takes on "All That I Could", leaning into the original's garage sound and chopping up the vocals even more to push its bounce into overdrive.
