DJ Hitty Comes With A New Hour Of Feet-Moving House Riddims For Latest 'Nocturnalist Sessions' Mix

April 20, 2022

As venues and clubs found themselves in a precarious state of limbo, London DJ and garage veteran Hitty spent much of last year recording his DJ sets in various locations—both in- and outdoors—as part of the ongoing Nocturnalist Sessions. Now he's back with a fourth edition, X-Series, along with news of an upcoming show.

For the entire 60 minutes he splices genres like Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B and classic soul records with throbbing basslines and a clatter of four-to-the-floor beats, most of which are his own productions, remixes and edits. He's reworked quite a few iconic tunes, including Janet Jackson and Rihanna, but it's all tied together with his signature, bassy house sound.

Once you've taken in this new set, look back at the other three in the series via his YouTube channel here, and then make sure you grab a ticket to his London show on May 14 here.
