Denzel Himself Takes On A Jungle Riddim From JD. Reid On "Live A Lot"

High-powered rhymer Denzel Himself has dropped his new track "Live A Lot" and it features a devastatingly caustic jungle production from JD. Reid.

"Live A Lot" is a jungle-influenced track and on the song Denzel gives us an insight into his artistic mind. JD. Reid’s skippy instrumental provides the platform for Denzel to express himself, I think a lot, live a lot... I think a lot, I feel a lot, he repeatedly exclaims in his deep punk-edged tone. The sheer amount of grit and raw hunger here guarantees it'll be a mosh-pit anthem.

This isn't the first time the two have worked together. In fact, Denzel recorded a verse for JD. Reid's "Metropolis" (from the producer's Tree project), but unfortunately it didn't quite make the cut. Thankfully, it wasn't their last collab.

The multi-disciplinary artist also directs the visuals for the track, which present us with a grainy, black and white performance of "Live A Lot" mixed in with abstract effects and dark imagery to accentuate the track's sonic rawness.
