South London's Deema is back with a charm-filled new video for "Maddie" with his good friend, Kish!. Together, the two rappers take on a bouncy, '90s-inspired instrumental as they open up about the girls that have got their heads turned, including the titular "Maddie".

Alongside Novelist, Elf Kid and the rest, Deema was one of the central figures in Lewisham grime crew The Square, before taking a step back from the scene to perfect his craft. That time seems to be well spent because "Maddie" is spilling over with effortless cool, and his chemistry with Kish! makes for a duo we want to hear more from.

Deema revealed the process behind the making of the song, saying: "Before we'd even spoken, I had written the first few lines: 'This ting called Maddie'. So when Felix played us the beat and said it was called 'Maddie', I thought: 'This must've been meant to be.'"
