DeBe Finds Himself In Hot Water In Video For Tough Yet Soulful "Not That Strong"

Back in February, Northampton rhyme-slinger DeBe released his debut mixtape, The Last Breath. Arriving alongside the typically chaotic "Drama" visuals, the 10-track project made good on the promise of years of hard work.

Rightfully, DeBe is still riding high on the success of that tape and we've now got visuals for the latest single, "Not That Strong". Even at his most lowkey (which isn't really a word you could use to describe DeBe), his videos are bold and unforgettable, but he's gone even further here. With Adam De Silva in the director's chair, DeBe and co have created a brutal gangland scene with the rapper finding himself in a particularly perilous situation.

Despite the video's darkness, the track itself has a surprisingly soulful edge. Sure, there's plenty of street talk, but there's an introspective quality that, when coupled with the track's more melodic moments, gives it a sensitive quality you might not have expected.
