It's been a few years since we've received a birthday release from Dave ("My 19th Birthday"), the closing track off his poignant debut Game Over in 2017.

To say a lot has happened since then is a massive understatement, but the Streatham lyricist manages to bundle his reflections on the state of his inner and outer world on new track "My 24th Birthday".

On the self-produced beat, a sombre piano chord progression guides his pensive tone as he shares his thoughts and observations on the dark twists and turns society has taken lately.
