One of the things that can be said to draw people to Dave is the normality and grounded quality he brings to a scene often filled with rappers talking about things that many of us have never experienced, or about luxurious garments that we could only hope to afford. His debut album, Psychodrama, was nothing short of a triumph and "Location" — featuring Burna Boy — was undoubtedly one of the highlight tracks, dominating the radio airwaves and gaining the pair a Top 10 hit. It was only right then, that he continued a year that has seen him break records and create history (including an appearance at Glastonbury), with a video for his bid for song of the summer.

Inspired by a tweet from the Streatham-born rapper, the video takes place at Stormzy's third annual #Merky Festival and sees Dave having fun in the sun surrounded by friends — including the recently released J Hus — as well as a host of other well-known faces. Just a young black boy from the ends using his talent to win and live his dreams. Who could be mad at that?
