Dapz On The Map Stirs R&B Into Grime On Eagerly-Expected Debut Album 'Landed'

October 28, 2022

At long last, Birmingham-born artist Dapz On The Map has graced us with his debut album Landed.

In the run-up to this drop he released "Contingency", "Give Thanks", and "Beautiful" featuring Pheleba, the latter of which turned heads with his silky smooth R&B vocals that he stirred into his usual raw grime sound.

We start off strong with "Kangaroo Bandit" where Dapz effortlessly treads over the eerie beat. Later, we're introduced to the flip side of his personality, where he douses smooth vocals and unique melodies over tracks like "Intrigued", "Holding It Down" and "Cruel To Be Kind", offering a word of advice on the latter to keep an eye out for the two-faced friends. "Memory Lane" closes out the experience with Dapz laying out a couple of experiences that have led him to his current path and the people that have lifted him up along the way.

Dapz On The Map only gets better and sharper with his craft and Landed is a prime example, take this in.
