D Double E And Ghetts Emerge From The East London Dungeon For "Where Do We Come From?"

November 07, 2019

It was only this summer that we last heard grime kings D Double E and Ghetts on a track together, but they're already back with another classic-sounding time-up with "Where Do We Come From?".

The new single is a slow and low statement of intent that has the same sparse atmosphere that made those early grime releases so new and exciting. Armed with reloadable lines like leaving shots in him / or his next of kin, "Where Do We Come From?" is bound to become iconic in its own right in years to come.

It's barely been a year since Dee dropped Jackuum!, so it's unlikely this means a new one's on the way any time soon. Regardless, we'd be more than happy with a string of stand-alones if they're this good.
