Clavish Balances Grit And Glamour On '2022' EP

Clavish Balances Grit And Glamour On '2022' EP

December 13, 2021

North Londoner Clavish hit the rap scene like a lightning bolt like this year, taking great care to hit all the right notes with drops like "One Of A Kind", "Fashion Week Freestyle" and a standout appearance on Fredo's Independence Day. Making the most of that momentum, he's just dropped his debut EP 2022 along with some visuals for new single "Bad Influence".

The new single appears on the EP alongside last month's "Like This" and three originals, "Blue Plate", "Jungle Mood" and "I Ain't Gonna Lie". With the extra space offered by a larger format, Clavish paints more detailed pictures of road life, setting them against dark yet melodic instrumentals from producers Hazey, Chucks, Nick French, Droski, 3lackondabeat, NADDA, and Jonathan Hoskins.

As for the "Bad Influence" video, TV Toxic handles that one, making sure to capture the glamour as well as the grit in Clavish's brutally honest rhymes. You can see that for yourself below and then get into the rest of the EP at the bottom.
