Chip Shares "Function Riddim" Video Ahead Of New Album 'Grime Scene Saviour'
Chip has released his new single, "Function Riddim", and he's confirmed a new album, Grime Scene Saviours, is on the way.
"Function Riddim" taps into grime energy new and old, reinforcing Chip's classic flow with icy synth melodies and a sparse arrangement.
Produced by Asa Lexford Jackson, this is the third single to be heard from the forthcoming album, following "Grime Scene Saviours" and "DaVinChe Code".
The new single arrives in the wake of his recent sold-out show, Grime Scene Saviours. Joining him on stage at Outernet in London on Thursday were Jme, Skepta, Frisco, D Double E, Jendor, Flirta D, Novelist, Jamakabi, Bruza, P Money, Riko Dan, Kruz Leone, Desperado, Jammer, SoLarge, RB, More Fire Crew, Duppy, Logan, Double S, Big Narstie, Ruff Squad, and DJs Mak 10, Maximum and Sir Spyro.
Hit play on the new video below to see Chip and the team hit the studio, and then look out for Grime Scene Saviour when it arrives on April 14.
