For the last 24 hours, the timeline's been flooded and the rumour mill's been kicked into overdrive with talk of a brewing conflict between Chip and Stormzy.

Yesterday afternoon, Chip dropped not one but two tracks, "Flowers" and "Killer MC", seemingly taking shots at Stormzy. No one's quite sure what made him pull the trigger with the videos, but it all seems to stem back to Chip's collaborative album with Skepta and Young Adz, Insomnia.

One of the album's singles, "Waze", featured Chip questioning the credentials of a nameless MC describing themselves as the King Of Grime. There's been much debate about who this was aimed at, but it seems to have caused animosity between Chip and Stormzy, and it's been simmering away ever since.
