Chiedu Oraka Offloads Some Feel-Good Vibes On "North Face" / "For A Minute"

March 09, 2022

Representing the north, Hull rapper Chiedu Oraka is back with his first double release of the year "North Face" and "For A Minute".

First up is "North Face" which is driven by a Sixwolf production that combines Afro-salsa and rap. Chiedu lathers the beat with his bars which detail his come-up and those that have been around from the start.

The next track is "For A Minute", which offers more of his uninterrupted lyrical flow as well as a hint of his versatility. Produced by Deezkid and Blem Productions, the beat borrows from a similar sentiment to Drake's 2017 cut "Passionfruit", but is tailored to Chiedu's own sound and style.

The double release also comes with a music video for "North Face", which has been directed by JJKORY. In it we see Chiedu passing through his town, delivering a lively performance of his bars. Closing with some light-hearted BTS footage, we get a look at the process of making the music video and a glimpse of Chideu's playful spirit. Tap in below.
