Despite still being behind bars, CB is back once again with A Driller's Perspective 2.7, a 17-track project that serves as a reminder of the draw of the pure drill sound.

The new tape features Teeway, Krept & Konan, LD, C1NNA, Yb Gaza, PR SAD, LD, Baseman, Broadday, and Bryan Tshibangu Kabengele. We even get a J Hus feature on the icy "Hollows", their second link-up in a year following CB's appearance on Beautiful And Brutal Yard extract "Cream".

The scene has changed beyond recognition in the last few years, but CB's menacing delivery and ominous flow cut through on the new tape. Although harkening back to a previous era, Driller's Perspective 2.7, but far from sounding dated, here CB sounds hungry on every track.

Driller's Perspective 2.7 is the sequel to last year's Driller's Perspective 2, CB's long-awaited return to the scene. It's great to see the "Take That Risk" rhymer taking it higher so long after his famous anthem.
