Catch has revealed her new mixtape, The Elephant In The Room, and it showcases a rising artist at the height of her powers.

The Lewisham-born rapper's pull-no-punches approach to the truth has become something of a trademark of hers, and that's thrown into sharp relief here. There's no bitterness or resentment, though, as she digs deep into working-class life, her sexuality and the social issues that she's had to navigate growing up in South-East London.

Dave has famously co-signed Catch already—and you can plainly hear that they're kindred spirits when it comes to writing—but she resists the temptation to rely on a feature from him, instead looking to Young Adz and Figs0 for the assists.

"If you know what this means to the ends and to the music scene as a whole, then you understand," said Catch about her new drop. "This is a moment, a moment in Lewisham history."
