Hyperdub's New 15th Anniversary Collab With Analogue Features A New Track From Burial

December 05, 2019

To celebrate Hyperdub's impressive 15 years in the game, the record label is releasing an 11-track collaboration tape with Analogue. The new comp features tracks from many of their roster including founder Kode9, Ikonika, Jessy Lanza, and the elusive Burial who has contributed his track "Starlore". This comes not long after the label's other anniversary collaboration tape with Adult Swim, HyperSwim, which also featured a contribution from Burial.

The new comp takes the form of a Sega Mega Dive music cartridge that fits into a revamped Sega Mega Drive console called the Mega Sg. The cartridge will also be compatible with the Sega Genesis and Sega Master System. There'll only be a limited amount of these cartridges available for sale — 1,000 units worldwide (and only 150 units in the EU!) — so make sure you get your hands on them fast.
