Seemingly arriving out of nowhere, Keysound Recordings boss Blackdown has linked up with elusive producer Burial for a new split EP, Shock Power Of Love.

Burial and Blackdown have been creative allies for years now, working together sporadically on remixes and collaborations that stretch all the way back to the early 2000s. One of their earliest outings together came in 2006 when Burial remixed Blackdown's "Crackle Blues" for one of the first ever Keysound Recordings releases, the Lata EP.

The new four-tracker puts two new Burial productions ("Dark Gethsemane" and "Space Cadet") against two creations from Blackdown; a remix of "Arklight" by Birmignham-based producer Heatmap and a new VIP version of "This Journey", the original of which first surfaced a couple of years ago.

Burial's long-awaited Chemz / Dolphinz release is due via Hyperdub next month. While you wait, you can stream Shock Power Of Love below, buy the digital version at Bandcamp or, grab it on vinyl when it arrives in the near future.
