Bugzy Malone Is At His Storytelling Best On "M.E.N 2"

April 29, 2019

Manchester's Bugzy Malone has undoubtedly come a long way since he first dropped "M.E.N" back in 2015. Now he's a millionaire with a clothing range in collaboration with JD Sports, owns his own record label, and has had four projects reach the Top 10 in the UK albums chart—including his debut album, last year's B.Inspired. So as a self-confessed movie fan, it makes sense that he's now dropped the sequel, "M.E.N 2".

Produced by Z.Dot, the track's visuals take on similar motifs to the original, with scenes of Bugzy in his whip or his house but both have been seriously upgraded. Lyrically, Bugzy talks about how his life has changed and the new battles he faces, all before scattering callback bars from the first instalment, cleverly reworking them to let fans know the progress he has made is not only personally, but musically too.
