Bugzy Malone Holds A Mirror Up To The Underground With New Album 'B.Inspired'

August 17, 2018

This morning, Bugzy Malone's new album B.Inspired dropped in all the usual spots and it's got chart potential coursing through its veins. He hasn't gone pop, though, there are still plenty of underground bangers with greazy barz and raw instrumentals.

From grimey UKG cut "Warning" (produced by Z Dot) to the Rag'n'Bone Man-assisted "Run" and JP Cooper collab "Ordinary People", B.Inspired pulls together grime, UK rap, pop, soul and UK garage together to give us 14 of what could be his biggest tracks to date.

Not only that, but the album's crammed with some of his most incisive and insightful lyrics yet. There are unflinching tales of gang violence ("Run", "Street Life" and "Die By The Gun"), inspirational cuts ("B.Inspired") and club bangers ("Warning" and "Come Through"), giving us one of the most balance projects we've seen in a long time.

The video for "Warning" arrived with the album announcement back in July and the "Run" video dropped just over a week ago, but when "Ordinary People" inevitably gets the visual treatment, you can expect it to do huge things.
