Blanco Primes Us For His 2024 Takeover With Double Release "Let Me Go" / "Protagonist"

February 26, 2024

Blanco hit a new high in 2023. And the way he's started 2024, he's due to take it even higher this year. "Let Me Go" / "Protagonist" is a new two-pack from the South London rapper and there's a justifiable air of triumph about the pair of them.

Both tracks are produced by Jester Beats (Paolo also has co-producing credits on "Protagonist") and Blanco employs his usual intricate flow and imaginative lyricism throughout. His usual references to sports appear here, using 'Fergie Time', aggregate scores and rabonas as the setup to his equally lightfooted punchlines.

Last year's Rebourne was one of the strongest projects coming from the scene, and since then he's dropped two new remixes of fan favourite "Brilliant Mind" from the EP. Those releases have kept a big buzz around Blanco's name and "Let Me Go" / "Protagonist" is sure to continue his hot streak.
