Returning with his second feature in a week (following his appearance on Benjamin A.D's world-weary "Losing"), Kojey Radical is back again, this time to assist Blanco on the Kennington rhymer's brand new drop, "The Long Way".

This one's all about the contrasts, pairing two artists with vastly different styles and finding a satisfying, natural sweet spot between the two. Similarly, there's a stark mismatch between the seemingly breezy instrumental and the two rhymers' unblinking anecdotes about the daily realities of the areas they grew up in. No glamour, no misery, just a straightforward, unambiguous document.

It's a clever pairing and each artist draws some surprising new turns out of the other. But what's even more interesting is that between "Carpe Diem" and "Londis" it's really starting to feel as if Blanco's building up to something.
