Black Josh And Metrodome Hit The Rooftops Of Manchester For "Locals"

March 04, 2020

Black Josh has added to the list of impressive releases from Mancunian artists this year with the visuals for his latest track "Locals", which recently dropped via Blah Records. The 0161 rhymer is considered by many to be one of the most electrifying rap artists to emerge from the city, and in the Sean Ward-directed visuals for "Locals", Josh backs this up as he stands on a Manchester rooftop and unleashes bars over Metrodome's boom-bap instrumental.

The gripping new track is complemented by soulful samples and strong personal lyrics, floating between different tempos to display his technical ability. "Locals" is just a taste of what's to come on the artist's forthcoming Mannyfornia album, which is expected to drop later this year. But for now, watch the visuals below.
