Following the release of her genre-blending EP Autonomy, Bklava makes another solid return with a contribution to a new remix EP for Locked On Recordings. Today marks 25 years in the game for the label and to celebrate they've called on one of NUKG's brightest talents to revamp Antonio's 1998 classic "Hyperfunk".

Brimming with lush melodies and 2-step rhythms, Bklava's take on the tune is fresh and forward thinking, layering a soulful spaciness onto the bumpy grooves of the original. The EP also features a remix from elusive DJ and producer Steve Gurley, which first appeared on a 2018 reissue of the track.
