Last month, Cape Town-born, East London-raised Berna announced plans to release his debut EP PLRK with the release of the title track's visuals. After joining North London's Alista Marq a week later on "2 For 1", Berna's now back for the EP's second single "Poppin".

As with "PLRK" (which stands for Poor Little Rich Kid), production once again comes from Akaali who gifts the 21-year-old a rumbling instrumental filled with low end thunder yet sparse enough for him to fill it with double-time flows and whipsmart one-liners as he tells us his story and lays out his vision for the future.

This weekend, Berna dropped the full PLRK EP as well as the visuals for new single "Poppin". Directed by Luke Biggins, the greyscale visuals put his come-up story in sharp focus. Flanked by his team and decked out in black tie finery, he vows to never be broke again.
