Bawo has just confirmed details of his new EP, Surf's Up, and to mark the occasion he's dropped off "Shelloff", which features Scorcher and Jme.

Tough but stylish, the new track is Bawo at his most toughest. Features from those two don't come easy but Bawo stands tall and matches their pace with no trouble at all. Max Beecher and Midnight Phunk's production is the perfect counterweight, balancing the three MCs rapid-fire rhyming with crisp, minimalist production and a subtle vocal melody.

Scorcher and Jme aren't the only big names attached to the EP. Alongside Max Beecher and Midnight Phunk, Jam City, boerd, Mac Wetha, Ken Samson, and Tony Seltzer are among the hired hands brought in for production.

The director for the music video, Javon, shares: "For this music video, we collaborated because we wanted to see different people shelloff honestly. I tend to root my ideas in community, keep them simple, and generally push towards surrealism where I can. Produced by Maya Kotecha, Casted by Mia Gibson-Reed, Shot by Will Gething—the entire crew had one objective! Have fun and make it look good! The song is quite poignant, promoting self confidence and individuality, which is also at the core of talent shows."

The Surf's Up EP lands September 25. Ahead of that, hit play on the "Shelloff" video below.
