With a string of releases that have captivated the streets, it's already been a breakout year for BackRoad Gee and now, with the release of the visuals for "It Is What It Is", the versatile rapper shows us what he's all about.

Taken from his Mukta vs. Mukta project, "It Is What It Is" makes full use of BRG's unique use of ad-libs, charismatic lingo and unmatched energy. Producer Levi Lennox gives BackRoad Gee the perfect space to get his bars off with a stripped-back instrumental that uses simplicity to great effect, allowing him to show off a rawness that's felt throughout his Mukta vs. Mukta project.

The rest of the new seven-track EP fuses elements of drill, rap and grime to create a sound that is truly his own. The unpredictable nature of his music always leaves his fans wanting more and his innovation is due to set him apart from the rest.
