Ayrtn's New Joint "The Glo" Is A Post Breakup Remedy

South London's Ayrtn doubles as producer and wordsmith in his latest track, "The Glo", which is the second track pulled from his upcoming EP following the hazy "Caution" back in May.

A track all about finally seeing the light after moments of pain and gloom, Ayrtn provides just the right bop to comfort people during those emotional transitions. The production experiments with textures of G-Funk and hip-hop to create a rhythmic bed for his natural finesse. For the video, director Joe Howat leads us into Ayrtn's visual world for another aesthetically-pleasing treatment. Through a black-and-white filter, the rapper is placed in the centre of a few highrise estates and graffitied walls, bopping away to the beat as he delivers his reflective bars.

"I realised that I was greater than the negative things my ex painted me to be," says Artyn. "From there, I began to gain my confidence again. 'The Glo' is all about the sun coming out from behind the clouds after a period of darkness."
