Back in the tail end of last year, Avelino took to the streets of London to announce his debut album, God Save The Streets, shutting down the capital with flags waving and a throng of supporters lining the roads.

Now, as the album's release approaches, he's just dropped off the next single, "Vex", which features Ghetts and BackRoad Gee. Playing up to the Sex Pistols allusion in the title and the subverted union jacks that he's been flying, the Tottenham star also drafted in legendary punk guitarist Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols.

Between the chugging production from PayDay and Fraser T. Smith and three MC's contrasting styles, it's another tense one from Avelino, ramping up the energy of the title single with R.A. Av himself is the balancing force, tying together BackRoad Gee's commanding bark and Ghetts' slow-and-low delivery.
