Fresh off winning the gong for Best Independent Album at the AIM Awards, Avelino has dropped off his latest single, "Champion". Avelino has one of the sharpest pens in the country, and he draws for Youngs Teflon and Blanco to suit up and lyrically spar on the Raf Riley-produced beat.

All three spitters have dropped stellar albums this year (Avelino with God Save The Streets, Blanco with Rebourne, and Young Teflon with his joint mixtape with Tiny Boost, Purple Hearts). It's fitting, then, that they should link up to celebrate their winning status on this track.

Driving that idea of greatness home, Avelino uses legendary team GB sprinter Linford Christie as the staple for their winning habits, opening the visual with a cameo of the legendary sprinter and wrapping up the video with a clip of Christie's historic 1992 Olympic gold medal-winning run.
