In just a few weeks, rapper and singer Alicai Harley will release her new EP, Yard Gyal Inna Britain. To set things in motion she dropped new single "Proper Paper" back in October and now she's just dropped the track's video.

The EP, we're told, takes its inspiration from children's book Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman, the first mainstream book to have a black female lead character. Appropriately, "Proper Paper" and its visuals catch Harley looking every bit the hero in what we can only assume is a breathtakingly expensive mansion.

Earlier this year, her previous single, "Naah Done", became a runaway hit and the soundtrack to her show-stealing appearance at Notting Hill Carnival. If either track is anything to go by, Yard Gyal Inna Britain could have the makings of a stand-out project.
