Emerging singer-songwriter Akemi Fox has just released her soothing debut EP, Colour You In. Recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, the new EP provides a sultry and elegant insight into her life and her experiences, dressed in an alternative R&B packaging. While there are aspects of Akemi's sound that point to '90s/'00s R&B, her individuality shines through her unique style and perspective on the world.

Speaking on the EP, Akemi says: "The Colour You In EP is a reflection on the friendships and relationships in my life, from my teen to now years, mostly talking about love. The EP expresses love but also confusion. It may also relate to other things in life but that's up for interpretation."
