TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

Firstly, as is the custom of the season, Austrian-born UKG don salute got our passions running with a nourishing mix of funk and soul; The Heatwave turned the temperatures up with speaker-bursting mix of dancehall; Spooky gave us a look at what's currently on heavy rotation in the Bizzle household; Kenyon Sound Collective's SBUERS got deep with his cocktail of grime, dubstep, breaks and more; DJ Barely Legal gave us a rush of nostalgia with classics from Addison Groove, Pangaea, Ramadanman and Joy Orbison in her autobiographical Essential Mix; and, finally, Bristol's Lijah stepped up to the plate with an eclectic mix that included everything from trap to jungle, spanning all the way from 80 to 130bpm.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
