TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Roy Davis Jr. took us to church with an hour and a half of soul and Gospel-infused house music; Darwin delivered an energetic mix of percussive club heat; 1Forty boss Lockt came through with a percussive voyage through the 140BPM spectrum, with more than a little UK funky influence; Soukah calmed things down a little with an atmospheric mix of sparsely-arranged dubstep; experimentalist Logos took us through the deepest darkest recesses that UK bass music has to offer; Manchester's Walton continued that thread in advance of the Secret Location Rave: Keysound x Loose Lips party next Friday; and, finally, D&B queen DJ Rap reminded us all why such a revered figure in rave with this powerful hour of breaks.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
