TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Australian jazz crew 30/70 Collective set the ball rolling with a calming hour of funk and soul-tinged jazz to help you forget the week; DJ YK Beats got the motive going with a high energy burst of Afrobeats; Mode FM top dog J Beatz gave us a rundown of his latest grime and rap favourites; DJ Barely Legal blended an hour of techno, UKG, footwork, jungle and all sorts of bass music; Melbourne duo Shadow (aka DJ BØN and Human Condition) kicked things into overdrive with a electro-breaks fusion; and, finally, Ikonika gave us possibly the jewel in this week's crown with an all-killer mix of the finest bass music London's underground has to offer.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
