TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

This week, Foundation FM selector Heléna Star gave us a calming and warm mix of 4x4 bubblers; John Summit, Sirr Tmo and the legendary Traxman all represented for Chicago's long rave history in their individual ways; Night Slugs co-founder Bok Bok detonated a massive, bass-heavy mix ahead of his show at Mick's Garage (November 8) with Cooly G, Mak10, K.G., Girl Unit and Hysterics; dubstep champ DJ Distance announced his own live dates with a chugging mix for the steppers; and, finally, Brummie junglists Frenetic and Natty D teamed up for a red hot hour of breaks and bars.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
