TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Girls Can't DJ founder Jordss (pictured) eased us into the weekend with a silky smooth collection of R&B, funk and soul; Preditah whipped up a storm with some house and garage; DJ Q continued that thread with a fast and heavy bassline session; Italy-born Nervous Horizon head TSVI took us on a non-stop run through his extensive collection of global underground club music; 6 Figure Gang's Sherelle cranked up the energy with a hour of snarling D&B and jungle; Canadian selector Ded Sheppard ran with that theme with an even darker D&B session; and, finally, Sub Channel Music boss Es.tereo rounded things off with an eclectic blend of the various strains of 170 bass music that inspire him.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
