SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First off, we got an energetic mix of 4x4 club cuts from French DJ and producer Marina Trench; Impey whipped up a storm with his off-kilter, percussive heaters; Mixpak favourite Palmistry put together a companion mix to his new album Afterlife; recent Swamp81 signee Hypho mixed together a storm of breaks, electro, UKG and bass music all around the 130BPM mark; Leeds-born Clouwds cranked up the temperature with a selection of peak-time D&B energy; and, finally, another Mixpak family member, Jubilee (pictured) got deep and bassy with her high octane mix for Dirtybird.
