TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up this week, East London DJ Digital Mozart gently eased us into the weekend with an ultra smooth blend of R&B, soul and chilled electronics; DJ Polo delivered a percussive mix of UK funky, house and bass music; Majora followed suit with an groove-filled UK funky session; grime legend Commodo reminded us of his status as on of the best to ever do it; Hedchef took us into the late night with his choice of glowering basslines and thunderous drums; Berlin-based selector Goro took that a step further with a pan-global selection of dark club music, hip-hop and even some Bollywood music; and, finally, Paris-based techno boss Louisahhh (pictured) cranked up the tempo with some 4x4 thunder to keep you moving long into the night.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
