TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, London production duo Project Karnak weave together jazz, soul, breaks and more for a laid back yet uplifting session; "Come Closer" producer Sarz gave us a lesson in the latest and greatest in Afrobeats; Fauzia (pictured) took us on a whirlwind of 160 madness; Swing Ting dons Samrai and Platt summon Carnival season with a non-stop dancehall mix; Rinse's Emerald Rose mixed together an hour of R&B classics old and new; Garden City Movement drew inspiration from a trip to Japan for their mix of groove-filled 4x4 heat; and, finally, London-born, Arizona-raised selector Blossom kicked the energy levels through the roof with a relentless mix of house music, trap, hip-hop and bass music.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
