TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

Photography: Dean Davies

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Kenny Allstar rang out the final day of Notting Hill Carnival with a reggae-led selection of summer heat; former NASTY FM resident DJ Liana Rose served up a blend of grime peppered with US and UK rap bangers; grime selector Grandmixxer pulled together his most energetic 140 selections; rave pioneer Mark Archer (of Altern-8 fame) took us back to the golden age with some breaks-filled hardcore; Bristol-based illustrator Danielle Doobay (pictured) gave us a four-to-the-floor workout; and, finally, Finn returned with Montreal ghetto house ambassador for the latest in his super fun B2B series.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
