TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, London-based DJ and producer Navneet Hans delivered a blend of understated and stylish house music peppered with uplifting bursts of R&B and soul; Prestige Pak don Lil C whipped up a session of non-stop dancehall and bashment scorchers; Scratcha DVA matched the rising temperatures with a jumpy, bass-heavy blend of gqom, funky and beyond; Oneman got us fired up for the weekend with two hours of jumpy garage and breaks; Conducta-tipped producer and selector Oppidan delved into the speedier end of the garage and bassline spectrum for an intensive rave workout; Tokyo-born Object Blue marked the recent release of her audiovisual Grotto EP with a heart-racing thrill-ride through underground club culture; Logan Sama celebrated the recent Nike x Skepta collection with a tribute to the Tottenham legend; grime titan DJ Garna powered us up with a power hour of pure 140 cruddage; Fallow called on Gloucester MC and rapper Griz-O to jump on a multi-genre mix of soundsystem-ready bouncers; and, finally, Juke Bounce Werk co-founder DJ Noir served up an hour of jungle touched with moments of liquid D&B, breakbeat and footwork.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
