TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Subtle Radio regular latec0mer whipped up 60 minutes of anything-goes, unabashed joy from just about every genre going; recent addition to the Foundation FM fold, Vanessa Maria warmed us through with a swift half hour of Baile funk; Deep Medi residents Sicaria Sound served up some bumpy dubstep flecked with electro, breaks and grime; 1Forty boss Lockt celebrated the release of MPH and Coco's recent "Levelz 2 Dis" with a blend of garage, grime and funky; Bok Bok (who also hosted a stellar session with Nammy Wams this week) joined DJ Oblig for a booming B2B session of heavyweight rap, drill and beyond; North West London's Charisma and Glasgow's Rapture 4D spotlighted some old gems and future classics from the worlds of grime, garage, funky and dubstep; Hong Kong selector Just Bee delved deep into her vast collection to pull together some of the most adventurous and experimental D&B and jungle going; Tokyo's KATIMI AI got our blood pumping with a powerful, gut-punching hour of intergalactic techno power; BrandNewTrumpets primed us for her upcoming EP on Diffrent Music with an expansive and surprising jungle mix; and, finally, Balamii's Keeloh delved into the most intense, skull-shattering jungle and breakcore for an unrelenting sonic assault that'll stay with you for some time.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
