TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Cameroonian/Belgian DJ Bona Léa stirred together Afro House, broken beat and plenty more besides; Hillel Shabtai served up an soul-nourishing hour of timeless house music with grooves deeper than the Mariana Trench; JADALAREIGN, justifiably one of the most celebrated DJs in New York's new gen, created the perfect simulation of a sweat-soaked rave; French selector Zazu found the sweet spot between gqom, baile funk and techno; Japan's Karnage delved into his own productions for a dubstep-focused session; Leeds DJ and producer Hayz stepped up for West Yorkshire with 30 minutes of jumpy, grimey goodness; Rossi B & Luca have done it again with their latest mix of punchy grime, garage and beyond; Belfast-born, Rotterdam-based Kessler cooked up a blend of breakbeat and techno for his percussion-heavy mix; Tommy Four Seven cranked the heat up with a mesh of D&B, breaks and techno; and, finally, Anthoney Hart donned his Basic Rhythm alias for an hour of jungle and breaks that veered between the exhilarating and the downright terrifying.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
