TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, Chicago's KeiyaA (pictured) paid tribute to the late, great MF DOOM with a heartfelt mix of the metal faced one's various guises; Mancunian R&B champ and NTS regular Tarzsa kept it sweet and smooth with 60 minutes of R&B and soul classics through the ages; IZCO delivered an hour of bright and bubbly UKG beauties; Swedish selector Toof cemented his reputation as one of garage's biggest importers; Bengali DJ Samia whipped up a truly global selection of everything from house to traditional Indian music to grime (and plenty more besides); Breaker Breaker founder Haider served up a session of non-stop classics, from Moodymann to Mariah; rising talent Bruxita blended a cocktail of grime, rap, pop and anything else at 140BPM; LA-based Tori Doublecup turned the heat up high with a session of bass-heavy club fireworks; DJ Sketchy gave us a much-needed pick-me-up with a non-stop, high-energy dancefloor workout; and, finally, Pittsburgh's Samir Gangwani kicked proceedings into overdrive with a percussive mix of jungle, industrial, hardcore and anything with a kick you won't forget.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
