TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First off, Moveltraxx and Ed Banger affiliate Feadz lit a much-needed fire with an hour of warming dancehall selections; Uganda's SJAYY mined the sweet spot between Jersey Club and hip-hop; South London's Hagan drew on his mutual love of Ghanaian rhythms and classic UK funky for a drum-heavy power hour; Rhythm Sister lynchpin Eliza Rose put together a vinyl-only mix of garage classics old and new; the master, DJ EZ, celebrated Relentless Records' 21st birthday with a bassline and garage-focused hour of the label's highlights; Berlin's Maendi stirred together elements of R&B, rap, house music and jungle in her latest mix; Amsterdam's Narathip delved into the darker side of his record bag for an hour of sweat-soaked madness; Northern hero Chimpo cranked up the BPM with a typically masterful D&B and jungle set; Bristol's Yushh explored the boundaries between techno, garage, dubstep and anything with plenty of low end; and, finally, Lithuanian producer and Goon Club Allstars favourite DJ JM delivered a Molotov cocktail of indescribable club wildness.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
