TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First up, in-demand producer MoreNight an hour of super jumpy garage; Reprezent and No Signal regular Shay Shade gave as a much-needed lesson in the finer points of SA export amapiano; Roska's latest session examined the towering influence of dancehall on worldwide music; New Jersey's Ase Manual got the sweat dripping from the ceiling with his intensive club workout; Berlin-based Esposito found connections between dubstep, grime, acid and electro; Scouse selector G33 packed together 30 minutes of grime's golden classics; dubplate connoisseurs Traces took us back to mid-2000s era dubstep; Italian outfit Numa Crew took the dubstep torch and carried it into the realms of dancehall, reggae and jungle; Durkle Disco CEO Koast marked the release of his label's latest drop from $H The Producer with half hour of grime and dubstep power; and, finally, the kings Fabio & Grooverider delivered a typically masterful two hours of junglist fury.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
