TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

This week, Mancunian NTS resident Tarzsa (pictured) delivered an education in soul and R&B that'll cure any ail; dubplate king Riz La Teef put together an hour of pure dubstep goodness; Denmark-based producer Main Phase served up some deep and moody garage rollers; Manchester-born producer, DJ and founder of Manuka Records, Hypho tied together garage, funky and dubstep for his latest speaker-rattling session; DJ Argue spun together 60 minutes of the most vibrant, high-energy garage he could lay his hands on; Scary Things radio host DJ Bempah brought together the biggest hits and most overlooked gems in UK rap and drill's top tier; New Zealand's HalfQueen showed us what gets the walls of the club shaking at her renowned Filth nights with an scorching, multi-genre workout; Moveltraxx regular Alex Autajon ran through house music, footwork, Jersey club and countless other styles to raise your heart rate; Finn took us on a journey through New York house, classic rave, vintage garage, bouncy bassline, and a few of his own productions for good measure; and, finally, Caleo of Bowlcut Beats ran the full D&B gamut, from groove-filled liquid to intense, snarling jungle.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
